  What is ACORN?

ACORN is Auckland Challenge's online learning site for the Duke of Edinburgh's Hillary Award. It's where you do your Adventurous Journey training and find guides, templates and resources for each section of your Award.

  Open to anyone

You don't need to be with Auckland Challenge to use our resources. We developed them for Award participants all around Aotearoa, and anyone doing their Award is welcome to use them. A few courses are for Auckland Challenge participants only, and each course shows who it is for.

  Do your Award with us

Auckland Challenge is an Open Award Centre in Auckland. We help anyone do their Award, whether or not their school offers it. That includes home schoolers, school leavers and people moving over from another unit, and you can keep going until you turn 25.

Enrol with us and you get an Award Leader to guide you, help finding activities, and sign-off when you are done.
